According to my TI SensorTag app, all the sensors are turned on and working. For example, the particular sensor I'm interested in is Key Press State. Transmits to my app, but not to the Kinoma Create app.
Have a link to the specific sensors you're talking about? I'd be interested in buying a batch for the office to test against.
My question is respect to https://github.com/Kinoma/KPR-examples/tree/master/ble-ti-sensortag
I have the older CC2541 SensorTag http://www.ti.com/tool/cc2541dk-sensor
Let me know if you get it working with the newer model, I'll try it on the older model, if no luck I'll order the new SensorTag
BTW I'm about to order the Sony MESH tahttp://meshprj.com/en/tag/MESH-100BU-Button.html
relative to your sample https://github.com/Kinoma/KPR-examples/tree/master/ble-mesh-button
But before I did it'd be great to know the sample code works with the tag, check that out too?
Aha! Apologies; I completely misunderstood the type of sensors you were talking about. I'll leave this thread to more knowledgeable hands on the BLE side.
The older generation TI SensorTag does work with the ble-ti-sensortag sample app. I just confirmed by testing on a Kinoma Create V2 running Kinoma Software v7.1.56. The Simple keys service does work for me. Looking at the code, the TemperatureScreen and KeysScreen use the same underlying BLE behavior, so it is strange that one sensor works but the other doesn't. Is the onValueChanged() function being called in your KeysScreen behavior?
The Sony MESH Button Tag sample app works as well.
TX for quick response. Will check sw version when I get home. I'm using your sample code, so if your sample code calls onValueChanged() then I presume yet (but will step through to check). Good to know re Sony MESH, will go ahead an order. TX!
