Greetings -
Maybe I missed something really obvious, but Kinoma Producer 4 is outputting all my files inverted and upside down. Sure I can rotate my ipod or Treo, but the words are still backwards.
I am converting from DVD VOB to both Treo MP4 (MPEG-4) and iPOD MP4 (H.264).
Whuut i miss?

I tried using Gspot but it only supports avi, ogm, ogg? My computer is pretty clean and I can't imagine how a bad codec got on there. Is there another utility to track this down?
yeah - i'm an idiot - gspot works fine as log as you know how to use a dropdown box. sheesh.
These are my codecs according to gspot -
Is there an issue with any of these?

The codec list is definitely appreciated, but without seeing the results from the 'Render' button, it's hard to know which codec is actually being used (and thus which is causing the problem).
I think Producer has some code that flips the video in some cases to work around some codec bugs, so it could either be triggering unnecessarily or not triggering in this case.
I'm going to guess that the video decoder in use in this case is "DSH Nero DVD Decoder Ahead Software AG NeVideo.ax". Perhaps they fixed this in a more recent version of Nero/NeroDigital?

hi, dev,
with you,
try using GSpot to identify the codec being used (select 'Render'), uninstall it, and reinstall an alternative codec, such as Divx5, Xvid, ffdshow, or 3ivx.
can you post more tips about this?

Do you get sound on your Kinoma Producer encoded output for playback on your device?
I guess you do ??? as you dont mention this.
I have the latest Kinoma Player/Producer bundle for use on a Palm Tungsten T3 and latest XP windows software, drivers etc. With no sound on Producer output. PC or Palm T3. Other encoders are fine... (e.g. AVS encoder)
Conned?
The KINOMA BOXTER DEMO plays back fine with sound and reasonable video quality.
Any ideas or should I shelv this product and demand a refund?
